Tambour hooks (Luneville hooks)
A tambour hook is what makes Luneville embroidery possible: it pulls a chain stitch through the fabric from below, catching a bead or a sequin with every stitch. Ours are turned by hand from ebony, maple and stabilized wood, and fit needle sizes 70 to 120. Hooks are sold without needles.
